Four steps, and you are charged only for what came off the truck.
STEP 01
Check today's number
The price per gallon is posted on the site with a timestamp. More gallons means a lower price, and the full ladder is shown before you enter a single detail.
STEP 02
Pick gallons and a day
Choose how much and when. Morning, afternoon, or the first available day on the next route through your area.
STEP 03
Your card is authorized, not charged
A hold is placed for the amount you ordered. No money moves yet. It appears as pending, not as a charge.
STEP 04
We deliver, then you're billed
Tanks rarely take exactly what was ordered, so you are charged on the meter reading. If your tank took less, you pay less, and the rest of the hold is released.
On commercial pricing
We don't post commercial prices. Fuel moves daily, and anyone quoting you a flat number without knowing your volume is guessing.
Commercial fuel is priced as a markup over the daily rack. The markup we can offer depends on how many gallons you use and how often we're coming out. Tell us those two things and Mike will call you with a number he can stand behind.

Connecticut offers a partial diesel tax refund to end users who buy more than 200 gallons a year, on form AU-724. Most contractors never file for it. We are not tax advisors, so run it by your accountant, but it is worth the ten minutes.

Straight answers
How is the price set?
Heating oil is posted daily and shown on the order page, so you see the exact price per gallon before you commit to anything. Commercial diesel is a markup over the daily rack price. That markup depends on your volume and delivery frequency, so Mike quotes it directly.
When is my card charged for heating oil?
Your card is authorized when you place the order and charged after the delivery, for the gallons that actually went into your tank. Tanks rarely take exactly what you ordered, so you're billed on the meter reading, not the estimate.
What's the difference between red and clear diesel?
Same fuel, different tax. Clear is on-road and carries the full road tax. Red is dyed for off-road equipment such as excavators, generators and tractors, and is exempt from that tax. Running red in a road vehicle is illegal, and the dye is how that gets enforced.
Do I need my own tank?
For heating oil, you already have one. For a jobsite, no. We rent transfer tanks, place them on site and keep them filled.
Is there a minimum delivery?
Heating oil starts at 100 gallons. Commercial deliveries are sized to your operation. Tell us your monthly gallons and we'll tell you whether we're a fit.
Can you fill before my crew starts in the morning?
Yes. Off-hours and overnight fills are routine for our commercial accounts. Your equipment is full when the crew rolls out, instead of waiting on a fuel truck.
