What this is
The fuel price on this website is posted by Compass Energy. Rather than sitting down at a computer every morning, whoever is posting it can send the number by text from the truck. This page is the instructions, and the terms that come with them.
This is an internal line, not a customer service. Ordering fuel on this website does not sign you up for text messages, and Compass Energy does not send marketing texts to anyone.
How to opt in
Text your price to
(860) 854-7326Send just the number, for example 3.299. You will get a confirmation back saying it is live. Sending your first text is what opts you in.
Only numbers on the Compass Energy authorized list get a reply. A text from any other number is ignored, and nothing is posted.
What you can text

A posted price expires on its own after 36 hours. That is deliberate: an old price quietly selling on a Wednesday is worse than no price at all.

Message frequency is low, and messages are only ever sent in reply to one you just sent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our privacy policy and terms of service.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
